No conversing in the new year? I tried posting in a couple threads but my messages never showed up. Maybe a thread was locked and there just wasn't any visual indication that posting isn't allowed on them?

Strange, I think it was just a bug in the site.

Seems to be resolved now, yay!

Yes there were a few issues with the site but they have been resolved. In the new year we will continue to improve this site and it's functioning. Please feel free to contact us at support@suckramento.com if you find any other problems.

And yes I didn't proofread that last comment, and it should have been "its" not "it's".

I think the design of the site at present isn't as "Inviting* as the previous design. Somehow people are not led to feel as comfortable when making a post. The lettering (font) is far too small, and there is too much "white space." That's it for starters.

It would be nice if the last posting on a topic was shown on the welcome page as opposed to the first posting. Also...no avatars? My handle isn't clever enough by itself without an avatar...

It's very Web 2.0. I'm a fan of the table-less CSS design, but I would take it all the way and get rid of all of the HTML tables.

I am close to this project. Unfortunately, the first step had to be to recode the whole site. As bugs are resolved and Suck gets stable, I am sure the designer will "dirty" it up and make it feel like home. Thanks for all the feedback, I know it will make Suck better than ever.

I know how site redesigns can be tiring. I've done a few. Just got through one, actually, where I was the only one tasked with rebuilding the site: frontend, backend and middleware. Just in time to drink through the weekend! Go Steelers!

I notice that the discussion list page doesn't show post counts for the later topics.
